Executing and managing Horizon Europe projects requires collaboration. Author-e is an environment for collaborative writing, sharing files and monitoring costs.
Congratulations, your consortium has received funding for your Horizon Europe project. Now you can benefit from Author-e during the project phase. The project structure (work packages, tasks, deliverables and milestones), templates with EC instructions for technical periodic reporting, person-months and budgets is easily set up in Author-e. If you used Author-e to write your proposal, the structure is automatically converted to a project.

Collaboration between participants
Now everything is ready for an efficient, effective and a structured collaboration. Assignments with deadlines guide users through deep links to their designated part of the periodic report, deliverable or any other document that requires collaboration. This allows users to start editing immediately in a Word-like interface.
You can define project-specific templates and styling themes to enforce project branding. Project members can share and update files and folders in the document management module. With a few easy steps users create their own documents for deliverables, publications, etc.
In the financial module of Author-e only the project members can view the budget and add the actual costs of their respective participating organisation.

Project progress and monitoring costs
While project members are working together, you have an overview of the project's scientific and financial status. The progress can be easily monitored with Author-e’s collaborative authoring module: all information is in one place and track changes is fully implemented. If needed, task reminders can be sent.
With the financial module you monitor the planned budget versus actual costs, and adjustments can be made or budgets transferred. Predefined pivot tables enable you to monitor costs in ways that differ from the obligatory reports. You can customise these tables to meet specific requirements.
EC participant portal
The periodic technical report is generated as a Word file, saved as a PDF and uploaded to the EC portal. The financial management module generates the explanation of the use of resources and Form C, which can be entered in the portal.
Dissemination website
The dissemination website is created with Author-e. The structure of an Author-e document reflects the website pages. FP-tools assists with the website design. During the project, the website can be easily maintained and republished.

Pricing
Request a quote. If you did not include the Author-e fees in the budget plan, the Commission will very likely reimburse these costs.
